The unique thing about Raising Oaks Homestead is that we desire to cultivate life in everything we do. Both mentally and physically. We strive to speak life, think life and make life!
It hasn’t always been this way. We have always lived a “status quo” life; going with the flow and consuming what the culture told us to. After years of being tossed by the waves, we realized that there is nothing more pleasant than ENJOYING our home and cultivating it. We don’t have to consume or seek “more” outside of home because God intended home to be THE place of joy, connection and peace. From this shift in thinking, God lead us to Homesteading. We are challenged everyday to say “no” to the ways we are so used to and “yes” to the ways that build character, endurance and ….. life!
What We are All About
Raising Oaks Homestead is about creating before consuming. Adding value to our community instead of taking it. From this belief came the idea of our Farm Stand. We desired to share a snippet of what we enjoy at home with our neighbors. Our Farm Stand offers a selection of small batch, homemade baked goods, made with some of our own fresh organic ingredients we’ve raised ourselves. We find ingredients that are home grown or raised make the flavors explode! The best part is that our kids are involved in making items for the Farm Stand as well! Our girls make brownies and Sourdough Granola and our boys make an incredible old fashioned caramel popcorn! We also encourage our children to make things with their hands like crocheted items and wooden coasters. These are always huge hits with our community. It’s so much fun doing this with our sweet kids!
About Our Offerings:
At Raising Oaks, we offer a variety of products and services:
- Farm Stand: Homemade baked goods: Sourdough bread, scones, cinnamon rolls, cookies and more, baked from scratch in our own home kitchen. We parter with other Homesteads in the area like Cox Homestead for their Elderberry kits, MK Artisans for their Local Raw Honey and Coberly Homestead for their spices! The Farm Stand is open every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am – dusk. We take pre-orders and also make extras for drive ups! Pre-order or sign up to be notified here when a new menu goes live so you can plan for the week.
- Farm Fresh Products: We provide fresh organic and grass-fed beef, chicken, milk, and eggs from our family farm. These items have long wait lists. If you would like to be added, shoot us an email or text!
- Sourdough & Homest4ead Classes: We offer classes on Homestead skills like Chicken Harvesting or Sourdough baking. We have been practicing these skills for many years now and love sharing what we’ve learned to empower others.
- Landscaping Services: In addition to our farm products we offer custom landscaping services designed to bring the atmosphere of home into your own yard. From lawn care to garden planning, we cultivate outdoor spaces that reflect the same attention to detail found throughout our farm.
